As the panic of the coronavirus heightens globally, people in fear are stocking up on supplies while over looking what this virus is showing mankind. The distraction of fear prevents us from looking into the cracks to see the light. Rumi said, “the wound is where the light enters”.
People live everyday without recognizing the fragile interconnectedness of all. The coronavirus seems unreal, like something out of a science fiction movie. How can an organism invisible to the eye be affecting the actions of an entire planet?
The ego leads us to believe that we are invincible individuals in control of every moment. Who is the one in control? Are you really the controller in the way you believe you are?
This virus shows us the urgent need to reflect on the global fragility and remember the interconnectedness of all. It is possible that one moment you have everything and in one second all is gone. You can be healthy and active one day and the next moment life ends.
Stop allowing your ego to get in the way with embarrassment or shame because you are sick. With this pandemic, it is an act of loving kindness to tell people you had close contact with if and when you have/had cold or flu like symptoms. If you pass this virus without knowing, you are putting lives at risk.
According to doctors, until proper testing is available, if you have cold or flu like symptoms and/or have been in contact with someone with these symptoms it is best to self quarantine for 14 days.
Are you not able to halt your life 14 days to possibly save a life? Are you that self involved with your own agenda to not consider your actions?
A medical article stated, the world is still struggling to fully understand the new virus, it’s symptoms, sources, and how it spreads. For some, it can feel like a common cold. For others, it is a deadly infection that ravages the lungs and pushes the immune system into overdrive, destroying healthy cells leading to death.
A top doctor in Italy has described life in the lockdown as an ‘exercise in humility’ and is now urging people to sacrifice ‘individual freedom in order to protect everybody’.
The ego hates change, but if you don’t want to be responsible for unknowingly killing people by spreading this virus, now is the time to make some life alterations.
Recognize you are connected to everyone and everything in all ways. Choosing love, compassion and seeing others as you would see your Self is the only way.
Right now, love means to throw away your personal agenda and consider the interconnectedness of all. Right now, love means sacrificing your individual freedom.
Love all beings as your own Self and see all as love. The way of LOVE is NOW. End the illusion of separation and be held in the arms of LOVE.
May all beings know Love
May all beings know Truth
May all beings be Free
